[NMLUG] samba printing to XP printer

Hey gang.  I've googled around and gotten half answers to this problem.  Thought I'd ask some experts.
 
Debian/Samba/CUPS printing to a shared printer on a windows machine.  (smb://hp/epson)  I upgraded the Windows machine to winxp pro.  Now I have a permissions problem and can't connect to the printer.
 
I've tried changing the printer settings via the CUPS gui (http://localhost:631) but can't seem to find how to pass a userid/password to the windows share.
 
I can't seem to find how to let winxp just share the printer with anybody.
 
Any help would be appreciated.
